About Me

Hi, I’m Jessica Stone Hendricks! But you can call me Jess or Jessica. I’m a photographer based in Richmond, Virginia, specializing in sports, events, commercial work, engagements, senior portraits, and family sessions. My goal is simple: to capture the true essence of the people and moments in front of my lens. I strive to create a relaxed, natural atmosphere—where my subjects feel more like they’re spending time with a friend than posing for a photographer.

While most of my work is with local families, businesses, and sports organizations, I do travel for select projects. I’m proud to be the photographer for the Richmond Kickers Professional Soccer team, Richmond Ivy SC, FutsalRVA, Richmond United, Own Touch, Junior Assembly Cotillion, and the Village Dance Studio. My images have been featured by the USL, US Youth Futsal, and other national organizations, as well as in national publications. Some of my other clients include LEGO, Cancer Today, Sportable, Complete Health, the Virginia Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation, the Collegiate School, and EyePromise.

My photography style is crisp, bright, and true-to-life. I don’t rely on heavy filters—I prefer to capture life just as I see it. Whether I’m freezing a powerful sports moment, helping a brand refine its image, or preserving a special family milestone, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel authentic and meaningful. And yes, I still get emotional when I see someone light up over my photos—it’s an absolute privilege to do this every day.
